DR. Nick Thurlow PT, DPT

Owner / Founder

A Colorado native, Dr. Thurlow was first introduced to physical therapy while rehabbing a high school sports injury. This experience solidified his desire to pursue a career in physical therapy. While attending Colorado State University, he advanced his knowledge of human movement and performance while obtaining a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science with a Sports Medicine concentration.

Furthering his education at the University of Colorado, Dr. Thurlow earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy allowing him to pursue a career as an Orthopedic Specialist in the south metro area. His relationship with the community combined with his desire to challenge himself led him to establish Next ERA Physical Therapy in 2017.

Since founding Next ERA, the clinic has grown in Colorado with a satellite location at PUSH Performance and has also expanded to a new location in Tempe, Arizona where Next ERA services athletes from all 30 MLB organizations as well as high school and college players both locally and nationally. This exposure has led Dr. Thurlow to work with rehab and performance specialists throughout the baseball industry, allowing him to provide and continue to develop ongoing skills as part of a comprehensive baseball development specialist.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Thurlow enjoys spending time with his wife who also is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at Next ERA and their two beautiful girls.
