Cody Rimko

Pitching Coordinator
Castle Rock, CO

Cody Rimko is a pitching development coach at Next ERA PT and Performance, where he takes an individualized approach to building pitchers who move well, throw hard, and compete with confidence. Cody works closely with the Next ERA team of physical therapists, strength coaches, and skills trainers to map out the best path forward for each athlete.

Cody brings professional and collegiate experience to every athlete he works with. He spent two seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies organization, first as a Video and Technology Associate and later as a Player Development Associate and Bullpen Coach for the FCL Phillies, where he managed game-day bullpen operations, built individualized pitching plans, and produced scouting reports for player development staff. He also completed a Pitching Development Internship at Cressey Sports Performance, working alongside athletes ranging from high school to the major leagues, and has additional coaching experience at the collegiate and summer collegiate levels.

Cody earned his M.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Human Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he also served as a graduate assistant with the baseball program. He holds his B.B.A. from Texas Lutheran University and is certified through Driveline Baseball in both Foundations of Pitching and Biomechanics. His coaching draws on a deep fluency with the technology pitchers train with today — TrackMan, Edgertronic, Rapsodo, YakkerTech, ArmCare, and motion capture — but his real focus is translating that information into something an athlete can feel, repeat, and own.

Cody's passion for the craft of pitching, paired with his curiosity for how the body moves and produces velocity, drives the work he does with every athlete who steps on the mound at Next ERA.
