Cody was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a former college baseball athlete, he learned the underlying principles of balance and time management, both factors that would transfer to a career field for life after sports. There's no secret that being a college student-athlete is hard work and takes outstanding time management and balancing skills, but along with that hard work comes many positive benefits and potential life-changing opportunities.

After graduating from Illinois State University with his Marketing & Communications degree, Cody moved back to Albuquerque to take over the family business operations. Years later, after a course of life-altering events, Cody, and his fiancé Tawnee decided to start a new life path and made a move to Mesa, Arizona.

Cody teamed up with Next ERA Physical Therapy in the beginning months of 2021. His love for sports and past relationship with the baseball world made him a perfect fit for the position at Next ERA. As the Marketing Coordinator, he manages the marketing strategy, advertising, social media, and creative design for Next ERA PT clinics.

When he's not making magic happen at his desk, coaching, or playing Dad to his newborn son, Cody likes to harness his competitive edge for life on the golf course.
