DR. Austin Ryf PT, DPT

Austin grew up in a small town in Wisconsin called Winneconne, near Green Bay (Go Packers). He then went on to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to earn his bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion & Wellness - all while playing collegiate basketball for 4 years. During his time as an athlete, he underwent numerous injuries and gained an appreciation and desire to learn more about the body.

This led Austin to move across the country to AZ for PT school at Franklin Pierce University in Goodyear, AZ. Austin’s three-year journey in Arizona gave him the opportunity to experience two amazing clinical rotations: Cleveland Indians in Goodyear, AZ and Champion Physical Therapy and Performance in Boston, MA where he learned from well-known Physical Therapist, Mike Reinold. These experiences led Austin to accepting a position with Next Era Physical Therapy in April 2020.

When Austin isn’t at work, you can find him hiking, hitting the links, enjoying family time, playing with his 6-year-old twin niece and nephew, hanging with his wife, Kelly, discovering new breweries and restaurants, and playing any sport of game that involves a competition. He is very excited to be a part of this awesome team and community!
